Es un libro muy bien escrito. Es entretenido. Relata muy bien la personalidad de un padre inmaduro, fantasioso, egoísta. Al final, cada hecho le pasa la cuenta pero es tan ensimismado que ni siquiera se da cuenta. Es muy interesante como la historia de la familia esta ambientada en una época histórica muy relevante de España. Bien, entretenido, un poco agridulce con sus toques divertidos pero en el fondo un tanto triste. Una historia encuadrada en Barcelona por los años setenta (posteriormente en Madrid). Se me hizo muy familiar por su ubicación. Se lee muy fácil. Me recordó, salvando las distancias, sobre todo de los recursos narrativos, a la novela de Juan Ignacio Burgos 'Una obstinada impronta'. La de Juan Ignacio Burgos es autobiográfica, la de Ignacio Martínez no lo es... "¿Nos queríamos? ¿Quería yo a mi madre y me quería ella a mí? Tengo muy claro que, si alguien pretendiera hacerle algo malo, sería el primero en defenderla. Pero no sabía si eso era querer o simplemente pertenecer.
Costilla de cerdo al horno Ultimamente he cocinado algunas carnes en el horno, algo que no hacía desde hace mucho tiempo, y he vuelto a recuperar el sabor de esas carnes torradas y al mismo tiempo jugosas. La clave en el horno son los líquidos. La fuente de horno debe tenerlos en todo momento y de esa manera las carnes no se secan. En esta receta, la mostaza con que se embadurnan las costillas, da un sabor especial al asado. Va acompañado de unos tomates cherry cocinados con la propia salsa de la carne. Delicioso. Buena semana
